How many times you have had the ethereal moments? Answer this question to yourself. In a world of chaos and panic where everything is moving so fast and you have been choking to the needs and demands of materialistic society, Are you taking care of yourself?

Are you taking a moment to sit with yourself and process that what and where you are headed to? Or are you trying to feed for the needs of how the world wants to see you?

There are answers to certain questions that one cannot process right now and even at times some things seems extremely philosophical. That’s where I believe there is the concept of consciousness. One cannot process beyond their own consciousness abilities. But Philosophy tries to answer all those questions about how one should lead their life. Both wisdom and proper engagement are interdependent. One is not complete without the other. Engagement, sometimes seen as spiritual practices, without philosophy is merely sentiment and philosophy without practice is mental speculation. Religious practice or any action without a solid philosophical basis often lead to fanaticism that results in destruction and death. We are all aware of this.
Bhagwat Geeta also tried to explain this very point about philosophy in conjunction with Karma Yoga.

श्रीभगवानुवाच |
लोकेऽस्मिन्द्विविधा निष्ठा पुरा प्रोक्ता मयानघ |
ज्ञानयोगेन साङ्ख्यानां कर्मयोगेन योगिनाम् || 3||

Shree Krishna explained the two paths leading to spiritual perfection. The first is the acquisition of knowledge through the analytical study of the nature of the soul and its distinction from the body. Shree Krishna refers to this as sānkhya yog. People with a philosophic bend of mind are inclined toward this path of knowing the self through intellectual analysis. The second is the process of working in the spirit of devotion to God, or karm yog. Shree Krishna also calls this buddhi yog¸ as explained in the previous verse. Working in this manner purifies the mind, and knowledge naturally awakens in the purified mind, thus leading to enlightenment.
